Should i get my dog castrated because its aggressive towards other

Lhasa's were bred as guard dogs (teeny warning systems for tibetan monestaries I believe), so it's going to take a lot of socializing and training (they are a stubborn breed too). Neutering will help somewhat, but isn't going to offer a miracle cure.

You should get it castrated anyway, unless it's some high class show or working animal

This!!!

We got our dog neutered very young because he was showing major signs of aggression as a puppy, even with training and socialization. It helped A TON but I think at two years old, even if the whole things isn't a myth, you've definitely missed the boat.

Not all dogs can be trained or excessed out of their aggression. Especially by the average person. But the best thing that can be done is staying on top of the aggression and being responsible with him if thats the case. Unfortunately we need to be very careful with out dog agressive dog. This means making sure our fence is secure, on walks always looking a block ahead, always keeping eyes out for strays in the neighborhood, and not intentionally putting your dog in a situation where a fight could erupt, even if thongs seem "fine" at first.

But hey, why not try training? If anything teaching your dog to focus on you and to always listen when called could help save him from getting hurt or hurting someone else. And if you want to work with him, I would suggest going to a trainer at first, not just practicing with out and about dogs on the street. People usually overreact when a dog agressive dog nips or snarls at theirs and it escalates an already bad situation.

Good luck!!!

You also must take into account that dog attacks are often by untrained, uncared for or chained dogs that are generally ignored by their owners. Is it this or the intact dog?

Agreed
It's the same people (not always but a lot of times!) that don't want to properly care for their dog that don't feel like neutering it either.

(reiterating! There are responsible owners that don't neuter too!)
