Should I get some banties? Sebright and Cochin opinions please

We have one buff cochin and she is wonderful. Her name is butter, hatched last May. She has gone broody once already and successfuly hatched 5 eggs from other hens. She was laying regularly, beginning at 5 and a half months - the kids LOvED the lttle eggs. Her foster babies are 2 months old and are bigger than her but she is still mothering them. She has had no trouble with the extreme cold here in an uninsulated coop with 4 standard hens and a roo for company (before going broody - she and the pullets are in the unheated/uninsulated garage for now).

Cochins are a great choice, calm and friendly. I have 2 sebright hens and they are awsome birds. They are flighty but they are great birds if your calm around them and loves to alert the flock when preditors are around

I never had those breeds, but i would suggest you for cochins. because they will gone to broody if you want them to sit on the eggs.
Sebrights wouldnt gone to broody, but i have seen one sebright hen that gone to broody before.
its rare for them do that.
