Should i get this for my sister?

Ok my sister is really into turkens and silkies and you guessed it polish chickens and i was wondering should i get 2 turkens and 2 polish chickens for her as a early Christmas present well what do you all think? http://knoxville.craigslist.org/grd/2095070400.html

I wouldn't. I never trust getting adult birds, especially of craigslist. They'll probably die a day after she gets them.

Does she have other birds? Does she have space for more birds or is she doesn't already have some does she have a coop etc. for them? If it's a go as far as room/coop and you're sure she wants some I think it's a great gift idea. If you have a place to quarintine them that would even be better. That way if you gave them to her for Christmas they would be more then 1/2 way thru quarintine and you would be confident that they won't drop over dead before New Years.

I say go for it then. I got my DD 2 bearded belgian D'Anvers for christmas only she has them now couldnt hide them as she is still at home, and she wanted to pick them out.

In my humble opinion, buying a live animal for another person as a gift is never a good idea. If you want to give her the chickens, tell her that you have located some and would like to give them to her as a gift. Allow her the opportunity to go with you to see the chickens for herself.
