Hello, I posted a different thread on this forum a little while ago here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/700867/please-help-pullet-acting-strange-after-laying

I've been worried about possible EYP but if it were coccidiosis would there be similar symptoms? I have Corid, the liquid 9.6% oral solution. Should I give some just in case and would this harm her more if it's EYP or something else? Not sure what the dosage would be for a pullet about 18 weeks old?

Are there any other things I should try? I'm at a loss and new to all this since we started raising them from 1-day-old in April. This is our first batch and all of these four girls have been very healthy (we lost one the first week).

Thank you.

No, sounds nothing like cocci at all. Don't give her Corid, no reason to do so.

Usually, by laying age, they are immune, though in rare cases, adults can contract cocci if soil from a strange location is brought in on someone's shoes or a bird is moved to a new home. Could be nothing reproductive, either, if she is laying. Symptoms are too vague, really. Sometimes, it's just a wait and see proposition.

Since you have another thread going, I'm going to lock this one.
