Should I give him Baytril?

I posted about my coughing Roo, and can't tell if it's from the DE or a simple cold? I have some Baytril that was prescribed for him in Sept/Oct, so will hit help a cold? Also, is it still good?

First I would isolate him to see if it will clear in a day or two. If it does then it was the DE or dust doing it to him.

If not but it gets no worse I would probably use Terramycin in the water. Using one type of anti-biotic too frequently can cause resistance in what you are treating. I would run the Terramycin at least 5 full days after symptoms dissapear.

the Baytril is probably still good if stored properly.

as nnbbreeder posted..isolate to a different area where he is warm and no drafts..see if the breathing clears up..
