The pointed end doesn't look up or down, they're all leveled kinda. I dunno, I'm gonna have to really look at them. The problem is that I have two different egg sizes in there and I wasn't too sure on what turning number to choose so I tried picking something in the middle. The eggs are all LF, but from 3 different hens, the two white eggs are very big and round, the green eggs from my EE/silkie mixes are round and some are oval-ish. Everything so far is going good so I'm not gonna worry about it. They're all turning fine :]
