Should I go with the Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator, or something else?

Would you reccomend the NR360?

Hi, so, I'm getting an incubator, and just trying to figure out which one is the best.

I've never hatched chicks, so I'm definitely a beginner.

I've seen a lot of great options out there, but one that keeps coming back is the NR360. Do people have other recommendations or have feedback one this particular incubator, whether it works well or not? I'm looking for something that's under $200

Thanks for any input!

back is the NR360
Not for me.. I bought, used, and sold that one.

It worked just fine. The issue came for me when candling eggs or taking chicks out after hatching.. there is no sides holding chicks or eggs from tumbling out and that's exactly what happened. User error, maybe.. but after hatching nearly 1000 chicks in different bators.. I went back to my hovobator genesis 1588 (with turner).. which has walls to contain ALL chicks and eggs.

The only thing I really liked about the 360 was the external water fill, the main reason I bought it. Dropping chicks or eggs is a deal breaker for me.

I've used the cheaper Janoel 12 style.. with excellent results. And the 1602N hand turning also gave excellent results.. should you decide to go with a lower cost starter set up, they resale easily when ready to upgrade!

The Genesis 1588 (and 1602N).. holds 41 eggs.. compared to the 360 is almost half that.. I thought that'll never happen.. before I knew it I had 3 incubators running ALL year long, using one as a hatcher every week! You can always incubate or hatch less chicks in a larger bator.. but you cannot incubate or hatch more chicks in a smaller bator.. My end suggestion is the hovabator genesis 1588!

Happy hatching adventures! :wee

If you want cheaper but functioning, you can go with kebbonix, it's half the price and has a similar set up extremely beginner friendly. I'm on my third hatch with it. It only does 12. I'm getting a bigger incubator. It has a fan. An external reservoir to add water. It has a candler. I paid 100 on eBay. It also has a quick guide on top. This thing is good for beginners.
