Should I help?? Plz help

I have a duck that pipped on the correct end of the egg (large side) but pipped on the bottom or side of the egg (not near the air pocket). It has been 2 days now and he has made a small amount of progress. He just stuck his foot out of the hole he made so I’m assuming he is kicking. Should I assist some since it has been 2 days? I do not want him to die or drown. Please help! 4 of my other 7 have already hatched

Open the pip hole some and see if you still see blood in the shell. If no blood slowly enlarge the hole and wait a bit. As long as there's no blood, and the yolk looks absorbed you can slowly help it.

with a duck I would wait longer. since it didn't pip into the aircell it'll be longer than a normal hatch. (pictures of the pip hole would help with making the decision to assist or not)

How did the hatching go with the Duckling?
