should i help these eggs hatch?

i started to and came across a blood vessel. it started to run (just a tiny bit) so i stopped right away. the duckling was “yawning”. is that a major issue that the blood vessel tore a bit??

now i’m sick to my stomach, i hope i didn’t ruin it by being impatient

i put some vaseline on it in case it’s still bleeding hopefully that would stop it

That doesn't look like hardly any blood at all. I don't think you need to worry about it at all.

i tried peeling it this morning and didn’t come across any veins. he did the rest of the work himself and is doing great
