This egg Pipped yesterday and i know they can take longer to hatch bit it is not moving now or peeping or anything. I sent know whether to help it or not. I lost 2 others in the egg already. One had Pipped internally but not externally and I opened it up and it had died. The other one was not even in proper position...it was at the wrong end of the egg and never Pipped at all and its intestines were outside the busy and foot was caught in its umbilical. I only got concerned because they were at 25 days and no movement and started looking off. Here is a pic of the egg in question. I know I don't want to open it too early. Humidity is 73 percent and temp is 99.5.

I opened it a bit and it started cheeping and the membrane inside is all stuck to it but still has some blood vessels in the way so I made sure its beak and nostrils were clear and put it back for a bit. I will watch but im sure I will have to help it but I don't want to make it bleed out. I have assisted ducklings before. Just not chicks.

Got it half out....now it is resting in the bottom half of its shell

Yes it is out of the shell now. After it hatched out all the way there were spots of blood in the incubator and on his belly but he or she seems ok.

Thermostat was probably running a bit too low for incubation. A second thermometer inside the incubator may help you better regulate temp for next time.
Incubating eggs is a learning process. It can take a few tries (or many) before you get right.

This is Sunshine❤ my little silkie. Its siblings are all a week or almost a week older than it and I am scared to put it with them because of the size and age difference
