Had to intervene with a few eggs recently. (Bad incubator experience) Read the sticky the day before they were due. I couldn't do it without the advice I got there. Told me exactly what to look for and what to do when. I even pulled through a premature chick. Have a look, next time you have this situation you will know what to do, if anything. Intervention is tricky and stressful, but like I said the sticky helped a LOT.
