I bought new windows for my coop (black) that I plan to install so I can open and close from outside the coop. I’m considering also opening them upside down so that the top section slides down and the bottom is the stationary pane. My reasoning is that the bottom is at roost height and will block cold drafts in winter, but if the top is open the cross ventilation will be over their heads. Thoughts?
