Truly sad... I'm so grateful that only a small percentage of my savings was in the market... now it's even smaller.

I've been saying for two weeks to have cash on hand.
Monday the banks will be closed (Columbus Day), with the market conditions, Bloomberg.com has just released an article for a call by world bankers to write NEW international laws and to CLOSE the banks until it is done. Bush came on live today to quaile the run on the DOW this morning.(Friday) Over 8 trillion$$$ have been lost since the 'bailout'. Be safe or sorry?...hmmm suggest that you have enough cash on hand to buy food, gas, etc. just encase you can't get any outa the banks next week. The plan is to close ATMs, debit use, credit card use, etc. if they do this. ...
I know I should have posted this Friday, We pulled a small supply out of the bank this morning. We asked for more but the teller wouldn't give it to us. She said she didn't know when she would get her next shipment of cash. Kind of worrisome.
