Thank you...I really only wanted 5-10 birds then that turned into 10-15..and I have 27 LOLOLOL if some were leghorns...I would probably be able to sell them easier..but they just may be the welsummers...funny thing..THEY LIKE MY HUSBAND! He came into the garage and was talking to me..they all got silent and lined up at the fence line to listen to him!

I love my leghorn girl. She is very sweet and friendly, and I can hold her easily. She was pecked on the head by someone once, and she let me hold her and clean up her head without a fight.

I have 4 brown leghorns from mcmurray. They were very skittish until they started to lay. They still don't love to be touched, but I really like them. Of the original chicks I got last year, the leghorns are the only group to still have all the original chicks. I have lost partridge rocks and Dominiques. A fox tried to grab one, but he was no match for the leghorn girls.

Do you have an updated photo of the chicks? How many have you kept?

:)
