I recommend a run attached to your coop if your going to have problems with the neighbors. Trimming one wing's flight feathers MAY stop them from going over a five foot fence. You may consider letting them out only thirty or forty-five minutes before dark. They will only have time to peck and scratch your yard and not have any extra time to move on to the neighbor's yard before going to roost.
