Should I let my young silkie sit on the chicks?

So we have some chickens (they are still quite young) and we introduced a few younger chickens (like only a few weeks old) and one of our silkies is kinda mothering them??? Like she will let the younger ones cuddle up under her. Is that safe? Should I let her do that? She's not even old enough to lay eggs.
