Thanks. We've killed most of our lawn intentionally to make room for my garden and to save on water, but would like the last little bit left to live, so we should probably give them very limited access to that. That back area has all drought resistant native grasses that reseed easily, and I don't care what they do to that, plus there's plenty of dirt to dig in there. I think we'll start when I know my neighbor's dogs aren't out and see how they do. We spend a lot of time out back, and I work from home two days a week, so we should be able to offer them quite a bit of free range time, even if it's supervised.
