Should I rebuild my chicken coop?

I have a really old chicken coop and its done the job. But it is so nasty and dirty and I clean all the straw and poop out of it every few months. But it is still gross.

Now should I build a new one or just gut everything out of it? Like the floor boards, windows, roosts, and the chicken wire on the outside?

I think if you have the money you should build a new one. I think you should probably be sanitizing it at least yearly anyhow, and if the wood is too compromised from droppings and such, it would be healthier for your chickens to get rid of it.

And if you build a new one, knowing what you know now, you can build it easier to keep clean!
