Should I Separate Her?

I have a sweet little French Black Copper Marans who I think has something wrong with her leg or her foot. I'm leaning towards the foot injury because she has a swollen red spot. It's not big but she has a hard time walking. The other chicks are at that age where they get rougher and louder to establish the pecking order, and I don't want Winnie (the hurt chick) to be trampled. Should I separate her or leave her be incase it heals soon. What I don't want to happen is I take her away for too long and have to re-introduce her. Need help fast! The other chicks are SO much bigger than her.

When my first batch of chicks had a weak silkie chick in it, I seperated them with a D'uccle and and a bantam barnyard mix! The silkie chick was not bullied due to the choice of chicks. He grew to be a strong roo with an odd attraction to white leghorns....
Sadly I can't do that because this is my only batch of chicks at the moment. But...I might want to try that later on.
