Thanks guys. I got 10 chicks on Thursday. So I've had them for just 3 days. They are a week old tomorrow. 7 amarucanas and 3 silky ameraucanas 1 of the silky smooth looks moor silky. Still not sure how many hens I got. Hopefully all hens. But chances are there will be a roo

I thought one had pasty butt. But now reading some info I think it was an umbilical cord.

Had a little blood when I got it off. Just worried I will lose that little one. I keep checking and seems like it's ok.
 
We got our babies yesterday. This is our first flock. We have a dozen, hopefully all hens, unknown breed. The woman we bought then from has ordered a mix of 50 from Ideal Poultry. We love them all and are excited to see what they will look like as they grow.
