Hello, finally some chick hatched on day 20, actually they started the night between day 19 and day 20. So here is my issue. The one that hatched already, got already dry, and walking finy, and today one of them was disturbing a newly hatched chick!! He was kind of trying to bit the one trying to hatch. I got still around 10 eggs, that did not hatch, and my incubator is still on day 21. I am afraid to open it to remove the rebel chick, because I do not want to disturb humidity level which is good, 75-77%.
I know what is going on inside, because I cut a small window in incubator long ago, and put a glass, only to know what going on inside...
Also the fully dried chicks are missing around in incubator, and also walking and bothering other eggs!!! I am kind of mad because, before to enter into lockdown, I made sure there is good spacing between each eggs for optional condition, and those new chicks are popping and jumping all around inside the incubator.
So I do not open incubator, to remove them, or still wait. I use to wait until day 24, because sometimes I am getting late chicks... So open and risk mixing humidity or how??
PS: I read to a new born chick can last 48h, with the yolk absorb, so I am kind of more worry about the rest eggs...
Thx ))
