Should I take these chicks now....or (impatiently) wait for Spring?

Thanks for letting me know he's a mix. He is beautiful though. I don't think my all my hens are RIR either, 2 of them are for sure.
Most hatchery sourced RIRs are more likely Production Reds. True RIRs are a solid, deep mahogany red color. If a mostly red/golden/brown hen has white in the tail, it's most likely a type of red sexlink. RIRs, Production Reds, and red sexlink females are frequently confused and mixed up by people.

Thanks for sharing. The chickens came with the coop. The man that sold it too me probably didn't know either. I'm the 3rd owner of the coop and chickens.
