Should I write the story I've been wanting to write?

I'm sure you all know my horse Angel, and I can remember her story perfectly, but should I write it here? I've been wanting to write it, but if I did, who'd read it? Just wondering.

If I get enough people, I suppose I'd write it.

Just reading the title, I say YES! If you want to write something do it! Even if it's just you who reads it. Oftentimes I hear that authors really were just writing for themselves or for their kids, but not only their kids enjoyed them. So go for it!
