No, I have never done it. My girls free range when I am home and stay on their side of the 5 foot fence.

Thank you for all the imput! If I would need to clip them what age can you do that? I dont think I am going to unless it becomes a problem.

I don't clip their wings. However, if they start to attempt to fly over my 6 foot fences I may have to (dogs in both of my neighbors' yards). So far it hasn't been an issue. One did fly to the top of their coop once, but slid down as soon as she made it to the top. It was hilarious
