Should I?

If your getting a duck. . plan on getting it some duck friends. If the duck is a drake. . plan on getting it 3 or 4 friends.
Ducks have slightly different needs than chickens and while a lot of people do house them together and make it work. . it's not always the best idea. Male ducks without enough females can injure or kill a single female, and with no female around will likely try to mate the hens which is not good either.
Ducks need a water source deep enough to dip their entire heads in, and will make a mess of any water they find and will get everything around it wet.
Just some things to think about. 😊
Would it be ok to have a single female duck with hens?

No you shouldn't.
If you take these three you are more or less committed to taking females for the duck. This wasn't in your original plan. Ideally you would also need to give the ducks access to water deep enough to swim in. That will need maintaining.
Just starting out with chickens can be a challenge.

It would be better than if it's a drake. But it is still not a good idea. Ducks really need to be with other ducks for them to be healthy and happy.
And like shad said above. .
They need to be able to swim sometimes too.
They don't have to have swimming water 24/7 but it is important for them to be able to swim I would say a minimum of once a week to keep their oil glands working properly. (They spread the oil through their feathers, that's what keeps them waterproof.)
