Should my frizzles be frizzled?

I was expecting my frizzles to be frizzled looking. Did I get ones that weren't frizzled? I have to add that we just got them this morning and they are day olds.

I have read that not all of the will frizzle. Some will stay smooth feather.

I think the stats are 25% not but what are the odds I get 100% non frizzled???

My Frizzle is one week old and is just getting some "frizzley" feathers showing on her wing tips. On day one she looked just like the others. You should be able to see the Frizzle soon!

Thanks. I don't want them to grow up but I want to see the frizzle.

Yes, at first they look like other chicks, it's only the feathers, not down, that are different. I hatched 7 sizzles, which is silkie and frizzle, I got one silkie feathered, two smooth feathered and four sizzles (frizzled birds).

The faster they feather in the quicker you see it, but you will get a certain number that might be smooth. By two weeks it'll be obvious who is who.

I have 8 Dominque chicks that are 3 weeks. 2 of them have started to frizzle. So would they be Drizzles?

I bought 7 Polish Frizzles at birth. They have cute top notts and they are fuzzy but their wings are not curling backward and they are 2 1/2 weeks. Are they not frizzles?
