I had made the new agreement with the store manager on Fri. I couldn't buy any feed at that time because I'd forgotten to bring my wallet on that trip. So I asked if they could deliver early this week. They were having a big grand opening party over the weekend, so I said I'd call on Mon to see when they could deliver to my neighborhood. They were hoping to get a lot of new customers & orders during their party, and hoping to have other deliveries to do in my area.
I phoned on Mon & spoke with a sales girl. I told her to ask the manager if he was able to deliver my feed this day. She called back & left a pleasant voice mail message saying yes, they were planning my delivery, and asked me to call back to verify.
But when I called back, I got the owner on the phone. Who grumbled that he couldn't justify the cost to deliver just a few bags of feed to me, that he was losing money selling them to me at that cost, and what about this email he received from
Manna Pro saying I had complained about being overcharged for feed there, etc etc. I really didn't want to get into it with him, and just said I was returning a call from his nice sales girl, who wanted me to verify the order I was supposed to be getting. He grumbled that he'd have his manager call me back.
But he never did, and neither did I get my order delivered. At this point I am just going to wish them well with their business, but not give them any more of mine.
