So basically my dad and I are incubating 23 eggs, and they're currently on lockdown, one already hatched and quite a few more are pipped, seems like everything's ok right? I wish, my dad decided to put in some more water through the hole in the top where the thermostat wire is, after a little while the incubator started acting up, and broke. We found out that he got the incubator computer and wires wet so it completely messed it up. It isn't regulating the temperature we need and my dad is panicking, he has a plant heating pad under and slightly over it trying to keep the temperature consistent. My dad is conflicted on what he needs to do either stay up all night keeping watch on the incubator, or moving the eggs to another incubator. We have another incubator that works just fine but he doesn't know if he should move the eggs to the other incubator, in fear of shrink wrapping the chicks still hatching.
Any advice would be appreciated, and hopefully ease our minds on what we should do.
