How is the best way to transport your birds to show?

I just used a small animal carrier and it worked fine.

Not sure of the 'best' way but small dog kennels have always worked well for me.

I use cardboard boxes with air holes cut in the sides. You want something that will keep the draft low, chance of overheating low, allow for bedding, room for them to at least stand up when the car is stopped, preferably darker to keep them calm, easy for you to carry and open/see into to check on them. Also avoid carriers with a ton of holes or slots as they can mess up tail feathers real bad.

I take them in dog or cat carriers, or regular boxes.

dont take them in the wire cages you see old men with at flea markets ant will cause massive plumage damage
