Show chicken with badly swollen eye

Respiratory diseases spread through the air from sneezing, through direct contact, droppings, and by feeders and waterers. Wild birds can spread it. They can actually get it through hatching eggs. The disease can lie dormant and become active whenever there is stress, such as cold winter weather, molting, or the stress of a move. Another chicken from the show could have been a carrier.

Have you seen any sneezing, cough, wheezing, rattly breathing, nasal drainage, eye bubbles or pus? Could he have been pecked around the eye or bitten/stung by an insnect or tick?

No sneezing, coughing, rattly breathing, nasal drainage, and no pus, but there was a little bit of drainage from his eye slightly when I noticed it and it went away?

I suggest taking him to a vet. Got to get him healed up, can't show him like this. Chickens can go downhill fast, even small problems can kill them if not treated properly.

Everything I can find online say to daily dose with Tylan.
I know this post is old but i tried tylan 50 for 7 days, no change, baytril for 7 days, no change, and i am now trying la 200. Still the same but no change, and be gave it to another chicken!! What do i do????? :barnie:fl:idunno:hit
