depending on what part of Kansas there are a LOT of shows
And don't overlook surrounding states if you are close to the border. The mid-west is packed with dog shows if you know where to look.
Leavenworth.

you're not far from Kansas City. lots of shows in that area. Not sure how long a drive to Topeka, but lots of shows there as well!
Thank you, please forgive my double postings, I'm really not good at this technology thingy lol
LOLYou are NOT alone...if I had a dollar for every time I have done that we could probably take everyone on your thread here out to a four star dinner, with drinks!
Some of the most fun I have ever had was showing a Bedlington Terrier in a puppy class. Now the bath and blow-out, that was a different story!
be prepared to wait. Took me over 3 years to get the boy I have now. Find a breeder you like and dogs you like and then wait for the right puppy to come along.Yes! Yeah, if he starts winning mom and dad would drive me out that way. I'm trying to find out what I need to look for in a Aussie, but it's not working out.
I want to know how many people want to show or do show dogs. What breed? Do you have any tips for the newbies,
Some of us~Cough-Cough~ aren't old enought for adult drinks. Lol, well if you go with the law,.......
You showd a bedlington? I'm not found of them.
That's why I didn't, hmm-hmm, say alcoholic drinks (I don't drink) restaurant drinks are overpriced no matter what they are made of...and usually never come compt. with a four star dinner. If they do, let me know where you dine! Lol!
I still am not fond of Beds either, aesthetically, little egg-heads, but they did change my heart personality wise.
I wasn't going to pass that chance up and I am glad I didn't as the little 'bugger' took 1st place. Thank God he did all the work!
