I know. They would rather I have a whole bunch of stinky quail rather than 2-3 nice chickens.

Here's what happened that day:


I was trying to take a cute pic of my daughter in the autumn leaves when the chickens got nosy and got into the frame, so I shooed them away. When I picked up the camera again, there they were again! Once again, I shooed them away, and they just came back again. We did this process a few times before I said the heck with it and just let the chickens take some of the spotlight.

I was trying to get some pics during a feeding frenzy... ridiculous I know... but anyway

clearly... not chickens... but I had to laugh when I was going through my pics of the day... and spotted a new breed of cow. I'm calling it a 6-legged BlackRed Angeford.

My RIR found a nifty new hangout spot- on the arm of one of my old beach chairs. I thought that was funny and was snapping a picture, when one of her friends decided it looked like a great spot- so this is an "inflight" photobomb.
