Thank you! I believe that sapphire gems are hatchery hybrids made up of blue Andalusian x barred rock, but I could be wrong. I have a sapphire gem named Astrid!

I think Sapphire Gems are a mixed breed. According to Meyer they don't have them, so I got a Blue Andalusian without knowing it. The huge floppy comb along with her personality cracks me up. Lol
