I love my feathered garburator...

Kidding, I make most of the flock's breakfast fresh every day or so. But when I can throw some leftovers in, I'm happy!

Today they had warm cooked barley with shredded raw carrot, leftover chopped pork roast and bit of leftover potato & cheese pierogies. Oh and a few bits of cooked cauliflower.

Devoured in less than 10 minutes!

I put down two plates in different places of the outside run, or else the dominant girls don't give a chance to anyone else! They still hog the food but at least it's not so bad this way, LOL!

So, show me what you're feeding!

OMG how do you get a chicken tame enough to stand on a counter, in the house, calmly eat bread and not crap anywhere? LOL LOL

Well, if they don't like to eat raisin bread in the kitchen they can play Texas Hold 'Em with DH in the family room. Martha couldn't believe he called this hand!
