My Nieves (Nee-e-ves) is brooody again!!!!!!!! She has 5 little eggs wich are due to hatch April 4th

Ths is her in her pretty little broody box. This is the best brand lol

I wish one of ours would go broody- I love the pictures of the babies!

We put an open dog crate in the hen house to encourage sitting at ground level. We even put fake eggs in (plastic Easter eggs filled with sand) to give them the idea. But no one wants to sit. They do lay eggs in the crate, but I'm afraid they will freeze with no one sitting on them.

Maybe it just has to be warmer:/

Here is my cochin, Lacy. This is her first time and she is pretty young... 7 or 8 months old.

She lets me pet her and give her a tablespoon of yogurt on a spoon each morning before I go to work!
