Honestly, it was all a freak accident. I brought home eggs from a friends house and was content to have mutt chickens. Figured only one *might* lay green eggs (since she hatched from one) and VIOLA they're all laying a shade of blue or green.

The funniest part is that my coworkers who have been waiting for me to start selling eggs since they hatched are less than thrilled. I get the comment "eeewww, blue and green eggs? I dont want to eat those!" Oh well, my hubby is happy--more for him LOL
