Show me your favorite chicken

What's your favorite chicken? Mine is the one that I almost decided not to buy. When I went to purchase my 7 chicks, 6 were normal size 6 week old chicks and 1 was the 5 week old, tiny porcelain D'Uccle. It was so small next to the others that I thought she must be younger than 5 weeks old, and I almost told the seller I was not going to buy it, but now I'm glad I got her because I find her so adorable, and she might end up being the easiest one to train to let me pick her up and pet her. I love my curios and brave mini chicken, Sweetpea, more than my more skittish but beautiful Appenzeller Spitzhauben, Princess Leia, but she's my 2nd favorite.

I love your colorful, varied flock. They are awesome!:love

My favorite chicken is Frankie the white pullet on the left, a second generation Red Sex link, hatched from a grocery store egg! Second favorite is Lacey, this gorgeous silver laced Orpington pullet. Both about eight weeks old in this photo.
These are the last chicks I hatched this year and they are both very friendly and will fly in to my lap for pats.❤️

Your d’uccle is male. But he’s adorable.

Oh my gosh, really?! Did the woman that sold me the 7 chicks that are supposed to be female actually sold me all males? Damn :( I can't have roosters were I live in NY.
Sorry to hear that, that must be so disappointing. Unfortunately, if you’re not already aware, I looked back at your photos of your gorgeous chickens it looks like both your Polish may be males as well…
Silkies are harder to sex at this young age. You can try posting photos of all of the chicks individually to see if you can get help with definitive gender IDs on your other chickens.
