Im not sure how good they are. But my friend got 25 cochins from mcmurry and they looked like cochin/leghorn/du'ccle crosses. So definitly not a pure line.

that's what someone told me about these birds this were my first order there in mcmurray but i think my orps don't look like a cross what do u think???

I'd like to see more birds from MMcM as well, I'm considering ordering Buff Orpingtons, Australorps and possibly Delawares from them in the springtime.

I got an order of 25 chicks in november and over half of them had cross beak. I was upset to say the least. I will not be using them again, but I suppose other people have better luck with mcmurry.

The Buffs look nice healthy backyard birds, not exhibition quality as they lack in type, and have too much pigment in the shanks.
