This is my coop right after I built it. The chickens were still too small to move in. Its not entirely open air but most of it is open. Since then I have added several long roosts so on hot night the girsl roost in the enclosure instead of the hen house.
I have been looking all over for a coop design that is open air with just the right amount of space and sheltered area - I love your coop. Do you happen to have plans or can you tell me where you got your plans. I don't have a lot of experience building things so I sort of need detailed instructions.
