I dont have any mixes anymore, though Im hoping for some buff saddleback pom x sebastapol mixes this year, but so far our sebbie girl isnt interested much in being bred.

Here is the late Baby Goompse/Sega though. She was a 1 yr old Grey saddleback Pomeranian x embden goose.

I would love to see those crosses if they do happen 😍

Up until this year, I thought this was a Pilgrim gander. "His" name WAS Simeon.

Now I have no idea WHAT breed she is. Probably Pilgrim / Embden? The mom was Pilgrim, at least that's what I remember from talking to the lady who sold the 2 geese to me 3 yrs ago. 🤷‍♀️
(The goose in the back is my special needs Toulouse girl, 'Skully!" She has a wonky spine, which is why she's in with the mellower group!)

I have 3 girls who came from a Pomeranian Saddleback gander and a white Sebastopol goose. Feathers have been bit ragged from hormones during their first mating season.View attachment 3106389View attachment 3106390View attachment 3106391
They are gorgeous 😍 so glad you posted . I have some saddle back juvenile females (not Pomeranians just mixed breed) and I was wondering if there pattern would pass to there off spring if I cross them with my new embden gander. Hope so but might not because the gander is the white one and the females are saddle back . Thank you for posting ♥️

I wish I knew. My white goose pictured in the nest has a beautiful saddleback hidden under her white wings. She mated with our lavender Sebastopol and one of the eggs hatched. The little one has no trace of a saddle. So, I will just have to wait until my 5 week old gosling grows up to see what the little one will look like. You might be right that the gander has to have the saddleback.

Your saddleback looks a lot like mine. What a great gaggle you have!!!!
