Show me your poop traps!

Thia is my poop set up. I have a sand box under the entire
roost and all of the poop goes in the sand box. Takes less
than 5 minutes to clean with a kitty litter scoop. Goes into 5
gallon buckets I get free from a local restaurant. It composts
inside the buckets and goes into my watermelon patch every
spring.

Coop floor is covered wall to wall with a piece (remnant) of fashionable sheet vinyl flooring. Builders sand on top. Under the perch we made a 1 ft. wide REMOVABLE board also covered with sheet vinyl flooring. So easy to clean!

We have ducks, and my wonderful husband built me a custom duck house for them. We use a sheet of FRP for a poop trap, that fits the floor but can be slid out through a door on the back wall. I just wrinse it off into my garden after disposing of the wood shavings we put over it for them.

I'm getting sick of cleaning poop the hard way! I'm ready to upgrade and simplify! I haven't seen to many poop catchers aside from a hanging tarp, so what are my options? What do you use!?
We use construction sand in the coop and in the run. LOVE IT!

I use these from amazon for the nesting boxes - so easy to remove and clean

I use concrete mixing bins - you can get at Lowes or a hardware store or amazon for the night droppings collection.
we built a little stand that they sit on underneath the roosting bars. Once a week we empty them out - so easy to wash clean in the warmer months if needed.

Idk if I would put sand/straw in w a dirt floor? Lots of stuff would grow. I use pine shavings and I have a rubber mat underneath the shavings. I also have a flexible cutting board on top of the crate nesting boxes because otherwise they walk over the top of the boxes and poo into them. It isnt too bad Inside the house. During winter
I deep litter but around this time of year it’s getting warmer I clean it out as necessary...you’ve got a lot of chickens...they are poo makers.

I have a dirt floor in our coop as well. We tried the deep liter method for years. however we decided one spring to switch to construction sand and we wish we had done it sooner. Our run Is covered and nothing grows in either. They scratch around to much to give anything a chance to grow. :)
