I built the aviary mainly for my wife to have pea fowl and my niece to ba able to interact with all my nice birds
Makes alot of room left for my stuff

Hi all,
Does their poo fall thru the wire floor easily?
And should you have a box or something in there for them to go in?
I have tried boxes but it seems they never go in it, I thought they may like something to hide in but they don't seem to care.

For wasting feed we have found that if we make it more of a "mash" typs by adding water to the pellets and let it "soggy up" they don't waste much at all.
I do like 1/2 cup feed and water to just show in it, it fluffs up and they don't kick it or throw their heads around and waste any of it.

just a suggestion.

2 X 3 these are part 1. There's a set of these moble units that we've made a shelving systen for, to stack them. So for cleaning I can slide a pen off the shelf (the quail stay in an old birdcage while I clean), clean disenfect and change trays, then set it back on the rack. I have plans i drew on graph paper, but they don't post well here.
