I use half inch hardware cloth on all my pens & coops. Its expensive but I sleep better at night knowing the birds are safe.

thanks have a project due next week and decided to do cortex and havent gotten the cage done yet thanks again for the help.

use quarter inch for the bottom or half all the way around

this is my quail pen. only two quail in it. trying to make it nice for them. planted a plant. put some leafs and sticks in it. i put a wooden box in it. I'm trying to make it a comfortable place for my two pets lol. Its dirt bottom. they dnt dig out. im still working on it. pics were takin at night

putting it on the wishlist...I like the rubber-coated wire or I prolly wouldn't bite. Their plant is right up the road
a lil drive, gonna call and see about pick up. Once the old tax return comes in may buy a 4 unit system, 12 holes.

This is one of the two (in progress) that my husband is building me. They are divided into two sections, so four 3x4 cages. Hardware cloth is going around the outside and a tin roof on top.
