I recently found something about a colour type for, I think it was buttons? called the Darth Vadar. Not sure if any of you button experts have heard of this, don't even know if it's America or not (I've only found it on a couple of UK websites). Yes,I think every color has made it to every corner of the world.Those things breed like rats.These harlequins are a little bigger then buttons,but smaller then coturnix.They were on the endangered list no so long ago.Hopefully,people will not breed them with buttons or any other quail.so we can enjoy them in their pure form for years to come.

sorry to disapoint you but theres no such thing as a darth vadar darth vadar chicks usually grow up to be tuxedos. and that bird picutred is a blue faced i have 2 of them

I found a website that shows a load of colour mutations for buttons quail and also all of their alternate names and there was a little bit about the so called Darth Vadar. It said it was a blue or red breasted with a black face gene....at least that was my understanding. I'll leave the link so you can have a look and tell me what you think. The bird in the pic I posted does look like a blue breasted with black face...
