Where are you located? If you're not too far away I would be happy to swap. My birds are beautiful, but they are not show birds-yet.Would anybody be interested in doing an egg swap this spring? Might help some of us get new blood to mix in with our current flocks.
I guess I need to count, but not the youngsters/chicks as that number constantly changes. Maybe it's better just to think, "around a dozen". I've been raising serama a bit less than a decade.I have 19 seramas right now. And I also have silkies and satins! There’s 26 in my big coop! And the seramas have their own little coop with 11 in there now, and 8 in my garage I just got Friday.
How's the winter temperatures there? Right now I've only one hen laying, but expect three or four others to start soon.Southern IL. About 30 minutes from Marion IL.
