Show me your silkie coops!

Hi everyone! I am hatching my first Silkies and am about to start builing them thier own housing. I need ideas and suggestions for how to build Silkie housing that suits them and thier special needs.
Some things I am taking into consideration:
1. I am in a mild climate, there is more heat here than wet or extreme cold.
2. Must be predator safe/enclosed
3. Easy for me to acess and clean. Easy for silkies to use.
4. What kind of flooring/bedding is best for silkies?
5. Group housing for a small flock of silkies. (10+)

I would love any advice and pictures of the solutions any of you silkie owners have come up with. Thank You!

This is my future silkie coop...just sold almost everything shown in here and now just have a few silkies and cochins taking over this "coop" It is located in our shed which is heated by a wood stove

This is our shed before I added the 2x4 wall with chicken wire.

you may already know this,but what I learned is that they don't fly or roost off the ground. Mine won't use a ramp either, at least not a long or steep one - they just pile up under it.

I hatched all of mine from shipped eggs last year, so have not had any silkie broodies yet - but am wondering what accomodations they will need different from my large stock. hope you get some good responses I will be watching.

Will silkies go up to a second story like the one in the pen above? How high/steep is too steep?

Mine would climb a 45 degree branch ramp up to a 2 foot off the ground coop.

seminolewind- The guy that makes these and sell's plans for this coop lives very close by to me, been thinking about buying one, He advertises them on our local CL..Enjoy it sure is cute.
