SHOW ME YOUR WALK IN COOPS!

The in-laws were throwing out a 12x12 shed... So we turned it into this. We just got our flock on Sunday, so there isn't anything we don't like about it yet :)

my coop is 8x12' I wish I had built it a little bit bigger. I made a 600sqft attached fully enclosed run too. I built it on a concrete slab for ease of cleaning.
Outside, when I was just about finished, notice I just attached it to a pre-existing loafing shed.

nest box area. Note the light coming in isn't from the windows, it is from the skylight I installed.

We purchased this coop last year from some friends. Here is what we did to it. It is about 8x13 and we decided to divide off 4 ft for storage area. We have a connecting tunnel from the automatic pop door to the 9 x 12 covered run. The run is from Omlet. It has electricity but is not heated. We still need to stain it, but the weather was so wet this year we didn't have the opportunity. Maybe next spring. I have eight chickens.
