Show of your bantams ...

I have always liked the look of rosecombs and had eggs several times but have not had one hatch yet. Yours are very nice MsBear.

Thank you SunnyCalifornia. I am enjoying them as well.

Hi Becky, rosecombs can be difficult. Every once in a while I get them screaming and kicking out of the shell but, most of the time it takes a bit of effort on my part. Conditions must be perfect. They like it raining in the bator at hatch time and dry incubation until then. They are also side pippers so most problems occur at hatch time.

LOL, I'm about 20 miles from the beach, but you're welcome to visit anyways!! My husband was recruited to do a photoshoot for a local Serama show. It was the first Serama show in California, so we were asked to come up with a "beach" themed background. We used a cool poster for the background. Those shots were "practice" shoots for the show. I WISH I had that scenery in my backyard, but its only just an empty field.
