You can use food dye?? I wondered about that..do you add vinegar? Is there a tutorial somewhere?

Yes I used food dye and no I did not use vinegar.
I took the eggs straight out of the steamer and put them in water with the food dye.
I just left them sitting for about 5 minutes.

Easy peasy.

I think putting the hot eggs in the water helps somehow.

Well I didn't think about it but I guess I could make another batch and record it.
