I don't know if its normal because Ive only had 2 other Bantems ever, but its like a very dark smoky color w/ brindle and blonde mixture kinda thing. I love the colors.

These chicks are a viriaty of breeds, but I got them because of their color. Some white leghorns, Welsummers, cream Brabanters, and Norwiegan Jarhons. Then I have some older Seabrights and a few Seramas But if you really want color, you need to get Peafowl!!

Pyles are still my favorite though. Although this grey blue cross is a very close second.

I went to a lady's house to buy a chick and she had several new hampshire reds the rooster was as tall as my 2 yr old daughter.
